The song ‘Erase Me’ ft. Kanye West, hit the internet yesterday and has everyone talking. The song is off the upcoming album Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager, Kid Cudi’s new album. The album is only a few months away and is set to hit stores on September 14th.
The album, which is a follow up to Cudi’s wildly successful debut album, Man on The Moon, will feature a number of other rappers who worked with Cudi on the project. Kanye West, Ratatat, Cage, Pharrell, and Snoop Dogg will all make appearances on the album. Kudi with undoubtedly have to compete with his colleague Kanye West since Kanye’s upcoming album, Good Ass Job, drops in September also.
The song in question here, Erase Me, is a mediocre track at best, in my opinion at least. It’s a radio rip so it is tagged but I just can’t seem to get into it. It’s different from what we heard on Man on The Moon and I can’t say I like it a whole lot. In fact, the best part of the song is Kanye’s verse. The song has a rock feel to it with heavy drums coming in on the chorus and I’m not a big fan of it. Check it out for yourself and see what you think.
