Breathless (2012) Blu-Ray Review
Breathless is a dark and twisted character comedy that works because of the performances by the cast members, but doesn't work because of the story and just how simple it is. Some stuff is a bit drawn out, while other bits work real well. It could have been much better, but it also could have been much worse. Director Jesse Baget mostly sculpts a forgettable film.

In a somewhat odd, yet fitting announcement, THQ has detailed yet another retailer exclusive bonus for those that pre-order the upcoming wrestling game WWE '13. Those that pre-order WWE '13 in the US at GameStop or at EB Games in Canada will receive an exclusive code to unlock a CM Punk ice cream t-shirt in-game attire. Why an ice cream shirt might you ask? Well, these frozen ice cream treats were actually very popular in the WWE back in the 1980's and 1990's and THQ thought it would be a good idea to incorporate such a cool concept from the past into their upcoming video game.

Hijacked Blu-Ray Review
Hijacked is the typical straight-to-home video B movie trash that you'd expect. Randy Couture makes the film somewhat enjoyable, but only because his deadpan acting is hilarious. The Blu-Ray looks and sounds mediocre, while the special features are barren and only include a DVD copy of the film.

Life Blu-Ray Review
Ted Demme's Life is both a funny adventure and a more serious look on life and the value of it. Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence provide the film with two performances that balance the comedy and drama well, making the film an important one for both of their careers.

Fox Announces The Raven For Blu-Ray In October
Director James McTeigue (V for Vendetta) attempts to dramatize the last days of Poe with a horror mystery that is well-acted, but predictable and illogical. It's not complete trash but overall, The Raven is gory, filled with plot-holes and forgettable on almost every level.

Fox Announces Lola Versus For Blu-Ray In September
Greta Gerwig is hands down one of the best young actresses working in the field. She manages to spice up dull movies (see the Arthur remake) and she has a thing for making good movies even better (see her opposite of Ben Stiller in Greenberg). She's said time and time again that she takes projects because she's naturally interested in them and not because of the money, which is a rarity in Hollywood.
