I'm an avid watcher of films and I just love discussing and sharing them with the world. I enjoy horror, sci-fi and mostly any genre under the sun, plus I have a slight obsession with Blu-ray's and the whole high definition craze.
David Cross and Sean Astin star in Demoted, an office comedy that you might be able to throw up next to Horrible Bosses, Office Space and 9 to 5. The film follows a couple of pranksters as they find themselves in secretarial positions.
The popular AMC horror show The Walking Dead will be returning this fall for season 3, with season 2 coming to Blu-Ray this August. The show, created by Frank Darabont, follows a group of survivors as they deal with a zombie outbreak that has taken over the world.
Road Trip is an early comedy from Todd Phillips that isn't going to make you fall out of your chair, but it will provide you with a respectable amount of laughs to pass the time.
The Spanish Will Ferrell comedy Casa de mi Padre will be hitting Blu-Ray in July. I've always enjoyed Will Ferrell as an actor because he's not afraid to take risks. Sometimes those risks don't pan out and sometimes they do. His brand of comedy isn't my favorite, but I do enjoy watching him in something like Casa de mi Padre. In the film he plays a Spanish rancher that seeks revenge on a dangerous drug cartel that has brought corruption to the land.
Sony will be bringing Salmon Fishing in the Yemen to Blu-Ray in July. Earlier this year Salmon Fishing in the Yemen managed to scrape up a decent amount of money at the box office and while doing so it gathered more than one positive review. It's been receiving praise for the performances by Ewan McGregor and Emily Blunt and up until this point I've honestly never had any interest in the film.
Fox will be bringing the long-delayed film Margaret to Blu-Ray in July. Director Kenneth Lonergan's Margaret has had a long and troubled path getting to release. It was filmed and completed back in 2005 and since then he's had a rough time getting his cut of the film in the hands of the audience. The film received a small and disappointing limited release late last year and now Fox will be releasing the theatrical cut as well as an extended version on Blu-Ray this summer.
