Sony has released the first episode in a series of trailers designed to show off some of the colourful and crazy weapons featured in Ratchet And Clank: All 4 One. Insomniac is known for its bizarre ideas for gadgets and guns in the Ratchet And Clank games, and I doubt they will disappointment us when the game hits shelves in October.

PES 2012 Release Date Confirmed

Konami has revealed that the UK and European launch date for PES 2012 is October 14th across all platforms. PES has been in the shadow of FIFA consistently for the past few instalments; both EA and Konami bring out an update for their football game each year, and commercially EA has been dominating the sports genre for quite some time. FIFA seems to have hit all the right buttons for football fans, and the franchise is still going strong even now.

Battlefield 3 Beta And Alpha Trials Being Revealed

DICE detailed a rough outline of how its player testing sessions for Battlefield 3 will be carried out. It’s fairly predictable and traditional; the first trial (Alpha) is an invite only job for those who are deemed special in EA books, and have registered their name in all the rights places. The second and more accessible trial (Beta) is going to be open for a play test to those who bought the specially labelled edition of Medal Of Honour.

Bulletstorm “Didn’t Make Any Money” For Epic Games Despite Critical Success

The president of EPIC revealed to Kotaku that the tongue in cheek, playground of messy death, Call Of Duty hating, first person shooter Bulletstorm, didn’t make the publishers very much money at all. This news is both surprising and sad firstly because of the huge critical success it had earlier this year and secondly because Bulletstorm genuinely deserved to do well.

Resistance 3 Multiplayer Beta Arriving Early August

Insomniac’s third instalment in the Chimera blasting Resistance series is geared up to arrive exclusively on PS3 in September later this year. The studio has today confirmed that the eagerly awaited multiplayer Beta will go live in the first week of August, and they’ve also revealed that participants will be sampling two modes from the finished product: Team deathmatch (obviously) and Chain Reaction.

Splinter Cell HD Collection Delayed Till September?

Some of you may remember the days long past many moons ago when Ubisoft first confirmed that a high definition remake of the original (and arguably the best) three Splinter Cell games was in the works. The re-mastered PS2 titles were all set to be released sometime between late last year and early 2011, sadly nothing popped into existence. Ubisoft seem determined to keep this highly anticipated remake under publishing waters indefinitely it seems as now Amazon, GameStop, and GameFly have all listed the collection for a September 27th release.

Modern Warfare 3 Headsets Revealed

Turtle Beach has today revealed their new gaming headset range uniquely tailored with special audio presets from the MW3 developers themselves. The selection of headsets is comically named ‘Ear Force’ and they are available for pre-order right now. Sledgehammer and Infinity Ward lent their audio magicians to Turtle Beach in order to optimise the quality of the integration it will have with MW3.
