Joss Whedon‘s The Avengers is coming to Blu-Ray this fall on September 25th, 2012 in 2D and 3D Blu-Ray combo packs. The film brings together Marvel’s mightiest superheroes (Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye and Hulk) to take down a universal enemy (Loki) and an alien force.
The Avengers is big blockbuster filmmaking, with an eye for team dynamics and action that pushes the boundaries of movie making to the next level.
The film recently passed $600 million dollars nationwide and is probably not done setting records just yet. One record that will probably get smashed is going to be the amount of Blu-Ray copies sold. I’m sure the film will call for people to lineup for midnight launches at local electronic stores.
