Fox has announced Bad Ass, starring Danny Trejo, for Blu-Ray in June.
Inspired by a viral video that took the internet by storm, Bad Ass is the latest cheesy action film starring occasional tough guy Danny Trejo. When he’s not busy in the Spy Kids series he’s usually seen in flicks like Machete. I wouldn’t call Bad Ass the next best thing after Machete, but I wouldn’t be too surprised if I ended up somewhat enjoying the film at home, with a bunch of buddies over.
The film looks like complete garbage and yet I’m compelled to give it a shot. Danny Trejo hasn’t been known for picking the best projects, but this one looks like complete and utter fun.
Bad Ass will be coming to Blu-Ray with a 1080p video transfer, a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track and the following special features:

- Birth of Bad Ass featurette
