To celebrate its 100th anniversary in films Universal Studios will be releasing classic titles throughout the year for the first time ever on Blu-Ray. The latest title to get the high-def treatment is Ted Demme‘s Life, starring Martin Lawrence and Eddie Murphy.
Ted Demme‘s Life will be making its way to Blu-Ray in July. The film follows two men wrongly convicted of murder and sentenced to life in a southern prison. I actually really enjoyed the film and thought it was one of Lawrence and Murphy’s better efforts. I liked how the film stretched itself out over time and showed what prison will do to you after years and years of being locked up..
It’s funny and entertaining and you really can’t ask for much more than that.
Life will be presented in 1080p with a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track. The following special features have been confirmed:
