Batman #24 Slated For Third Printing, Dark Days: The Forge #1 Gets A Second

Even if you haven't had the chance to read Batman #24, you've probably seen images from the issue pop up on your Facebook or Twitter feeds at some point. The reason for this is that the Dark Knight finally got down on one knee (in main continuity, mind you) and proposed to his longtime lover in Catwoman. It's well established that Bruce Wayne hasn't had great luck with long term relationships, but if anyone should tie the knot with him, it's most assuredly Selina Kyle.

Even if you haven’t had the chance to read Batman #24, you’ve probably seen images from the issue pop up on your Facebook or Twitter feeds at some point. The reason for this is that the Dark Knight finally got down on one knee (in main continuity, mind you) and proposed to his longtime lover in Catwoman. It’s well established that Bruce Wayne hasn’t had great luck with longterm relationships, but if anyone should tie the knot with him, it’s most assuredly Selina Kyle.

Because of this, said issue has been flying off shelves, with a second printing already scheduled to arrive on June 21, featuring a recolored background and the words “marry me” on the cover. Seriously, you have to admire how Bruce doesn’t even bother to phrase his proposal as a question.

Not surprisingly, orders for that are already through the roof, forcing DC to pencil in a third printing. This one, however, will feature an uncolored cover (seen below) but will still have the words “marry me” adorning it much like its predecessor. So, if you miss out on the first two printings – or intend on collecting them all – know that the third is set to arrive alongside Batman #26 on July 5.

In related news, Dark Days: The Forge #1 has already proven to be a hit – and deservedly so – thus the stellar one-shot will be granted a second printing that’s scheduled to arrive on July 12. Unfortunately, we don’t have an image of the cover, but we can tell you it’ll be recolored and sans metallic foil and UV coating.
