Japanese Game Director Hidetaka “Swery” Suehiro has revealed that his quirky murder mystery title, D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die, will be ported from Xbox One onto PC in the coming weeks.

The announcement is a testimony to how well the game has performed on Microsoft’s home console since release, racking up an impressive 1.3 million downloads in total. In the transition from platform to platform, developer Access Games is targeting 60 frames-per-second within D4‘s recommended specs (see below), all the while teasing that load times have been greatly improved and any technical bugs have since been ironed out.

To be available through Steam, PC owners can expect D4 to launch on Valve’s digital storefront replete with trading cards, cloud saving and even Steam achievements. Finally, Suehiro confirmed that the PC version can be played entirely using a mouse and keyboard, as opposed to the Kinetic-centric interface that the game launched with originally.
