By the looks of it, this is just the first of two videos that will explore the conflicts arising between Injustice 2‘s extended cast of characters, with tensions between Superman and the Dark Knight already overflowing to the point of the two icons engaging in a bout of fisticuffs. Of course, we all know who’s the stronger combatant, but you just can’t ever count Bruce Wayne out of a fight, can you?

I look forward to seeing the follow-up to that, but in the meantime, there are other things to be looking out for. NetherRealm has confirmed via the official Injustice 2 website that a new character reveal is coming before the end of today. At this point, there’s really no point trying to guess who’s next, what with the developer not being averse to introducing obscure characters, so we’ll just sit back and wait for the reveal.

Until it happens, why not check out last week’s announcement of Swamp Thing? Or, if you missed it, NetherRealm’s female-only Valentine’s special that showcases Poison Ivy, Cheetah and Catwoman.

Injustice 2 is out May 16 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
