Ubisoft released the latest trailer for Assassin’s Creed III today, this time focusing on the series’ modern day protagonist Desmond.

The trailer acts as a sort of “Last Time On…” introductory video, giving new players a brief rundown of what has happened in the franchise so far. While the trailer does a decent job covering all the main plot points of the previous Assassin’s Creed games, it is likely to raise as many questions as it answers for newcomers. Which is to be expected, considering that even fans of the series don’t have all the answers at this point.

Check out the Desmond trailer below to either introduce yourself to, or get reacquainted with the series before Assassin’s Creed III launches for the PS3 and Xbox 360 on October 30th, the Wii U on November 18th, and the PC on November 20th.
