Like many of its big budgeted peers, Montreal-developed Batman: Arkham Origins will receive the industry’s polarizing season pass treatment. As such, armchair Caped Crusader fanatics will be able to pre-order the prequel campaign’s downloadable content packs through digital means.

Listed at a twenty-dollar price point, Origins‘ season pass includes five DLC drops. That list includes New Millennium, Infinite Earths, Gotham by Gaslight and Brightest Day skins, as well as an extra mode named Arkham Origins Initiation, which puts players into the shoes of pre-Batman Bruce Wayne. In order to succeed within its parameters, one must win a proving grounds battle against his teacher.

While the above will surely entice diehard fans to part with a bit of their hard earned cash, the best part of this offer has yet to be noted. You see, the aforementioned pass is also associated with a mysterious story content pack, which is said to feature an “all-new campaign.” That’s all we know, though.

Batman: Arkham Origins will stalk the scum of Gotham City when it launches on October 25th. Look for it on PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U.
