Bayonetta 2 will bring its titular character and her new hairdo to Nintendo’s Wii U on October 24, SEGA has announced. That means that gamers’ favourite witch will return just in time for Halloween festivities, which is quite fitting.

Although Bayonetta 2 will be available in both physical and downloadable variations, those who purchase a retail copy of the action-packed sequel will receive a significant perk, that being a copy of a revamped version of the series’ debut. Said port will add Wii U functionality, along with Nintendo-themed costumes — like a Princess Peach suit that can summon a powerful Bowser attack — to the 2010 PS3 and Xbox 360 game.

Stay tuned for more on Bayonetta 2 as it surfaces. For now, take to our comments section and let us know your thoughts on the game and if you’ll be picking it up.
