In less than one day, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! will blast off towards a Pandoran moon and commence its series’ zany brand of first-person action. To celebrate, Gearbox Studios and 2K Australia have released a launch trailer for the colourful shooter/RPG-hybrid, which could easily be titled, “The Final Countdown.”

Combining 1980s arena rock with Cel-shaded hilarity and a whole whack of guns, this final pre-launch promotional video does its job well. In doing so, it sets the tone for a wild ride, and promises Borderlands fans the personality and wit that they’ve come to expect.
