Although Square-Enix’s highly anticipated RPG, Bravely Default, likely doesn’t need any more hype, the company has released a new demo for the title. Through it, they hope to gain more interest from North American gamers.

Unlike most demos, which tend to give you only a small portion of the main story, the demo for Bravely Default features an entirely new side story not seen in the main game. So even if you have already fully committed to purchasing the title, in order to experience the game’s complete story, you will have to play through this demo. I know, I know, life can be unfair at times.

As someone who is looking forward to playing through the full game come next month, this demo does work as a hold-over for now. Of course, this means that I’ll probably rip through it in a day or so and then be left anticipating the title for all of January, but hey, what can you do?

Bravely Default will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS (as an exclusive) on February 7th.

Have any of our dear readers played through this demo already? If so, let us know what you think in the comments section below.
