Completely updated with hi-res textures, remastered audio, smoother framerates and full 4K support for the PS4 Pro and PC, Full Clip Edition is the ultimate version of Bulletstorm. Besides being reworked in order to maximize the power of modern consoles, the port also includes a few new tweaks on the gameplay side.

The biggest addition, and one that has been teased by Gearbox head Randy Pitchford, is that those who pre-order Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition will unlock the ability to play as the iconic Duke Nukem. Jon St. John has returned to record brand new dialogue, and the new script will be integrated seamlessly into the original campaign.

Besides that bonus, Full Clip Edition also comes with the brand new Overkill Campaign Mode. This new take on the original story mode will allow gamers to run through the campaign with an unrestricted arsenal of dangerous weapons and powerful Skillshots. The score-centric Echo Mode will also receive five brand new levels for those who wish to showcase their abilities.

For the unfamiliar, Bulletstorm was one of the more unique shooters to land on consoles last generation, and here’s how Gearbox describes this new remaster.

Step into the boots of Grayson Hunt after a crash landing on an abandoned resort planet forces him to make a hard choice: survival or revenge. An exiled member of the elite assassin group Dead Echo, Grayson’s blind desire for vengeance finds his crew stranded on Stygia where he can finally confront the commander behind his betrayal—or get his team off the planet alive. Battle your way through throngs of Stygia’s mutated inhabitants, performing masterful kills throughout the single-player campaign—or one of 30 competitive score-challenge or 12 co-operative multiplayer maps—using Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition’s unique “Skillshot” system that rewards you for executing the most creative and deadly kills imaginable.

We’ll continue to have coverage of Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition during the lead-up to its April 2017 release, so be sure to stay tuned for more.
