Now that Destiny‘s upcoming expansion – said to be called The Taken King – is all but confirmed, fans of the shared-world shooter know all too well that Bungie plans on announcing something big at E3 in just over a week. How and ever, that hasn’t stopped the developer from teasing what lies in store via its official blog.

Every week, Bungie updates the post in question with a plethora of new details relating to the title, including incremental fixes and weekend events. On this occasion, the publisher set its sights further afield, hinting that Destiny will have a fairly huge presence at the Los Angeles Convention Center on June 15.

Per Bungie:

“You might have seen mention of Bungie this or Destiny that on E3 schedules. We’ll have some things to tease. Wouldn’t miss it for the world.”

We’re deep into speculation territory at this point, but the fact that the development team didn’t mention The Taken King specifically could mean that September’s DLC could simply be one of a number of Destiny announcements. After all, prior to its debut last year, Bungie outlined the post-launch content plan that stretched all the way up to last month’s House of Wolves. Could it be that we’ll learn of the publisher’s schedule for the shooter long into 2016 this time around? Time will tell.

Stay tuned to We Got This Covered when we’ll have all the information for you relating to Destiny‘s E3 showcase, which will likely align with Sony’s conference on June 15.
