We now know exactly what will be included in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3‘s Hardened Edition, which is set to hit store shelves on November 8.
Speaking during the Call of Duty XP event’s opening keynote this afternoon, Infinity Ward‘s creative guru (Robert Bowling), confirmed the list of perks gamers will receive when they buy the upgraded version of the shooter. The contents list correlates with a rumoured list, which hit the internet last week.
In addition to a free one-year membership to Call of Duty Elite (worth $50,) the set will contain some in-game bonus content within its manly metal case.

Limited edition collectible field journal, with 100 pages devoted to chronicling the entire saga. Features authentic military sketches, diagrams and written entries.
One thing we cannot tell you is how much this Hardened Edition will set you back. Perhaps it’ll be $79.99 like previous entries’ collectors editions, but who knows. Retailers are set to go live with pre-order programs soon, so it shouldn’t be too long before we become aware of its official suggested price.
