Cave Story 3D Will Feature A 2D Sprite Mode

Worried about the complete re-invention of Cave Story's floating island world, that is set to debut in Cave Story 3D? You can rest a bit easier, because NCIS America has announced that the game will also feature the option for a 2D sprite mode. It will be similar to Paper Mario, where the game's two-dimensional sprites interact in a three-dimensional world.
