Introducing the make-up of the new region, the team talk about a stunning land, which is unlike anything else we’ve seen in The Witcher 3 so far:

Toussaint is a land of picturesque beauty where the line between fairy tales and reality is blurred […] Everyone’s having a good time; it’s colourful, it’s beautiful, like something out of a fairy tale. So what problems could they have?

Well, as it turns out, there are more than enough problems to plague the inhabitants of this wonderful land. With warring vineyard owners sending bands of thugs after each other and wine cellars housing all manner of deadly monsters, there’s more than enough for Geralt to get his hands dirty with for one last adventure.

But it’s not all doom and gloom, of course. As the video shows us, Toussaint is going to be an absolutely stunning region to explore; from a towering mountain to a quaint Elven city, it’s likely more time will be spent gawking at the scenery here than on even the most artistic of walking holidays.

Check out the full video at the top of this page and feast your eyes on Toussaint’s gorgeous landscape and dark secrets before The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Blood and Wine releases on May 31.
