Set in a war-torn country, the debut trailer for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy follows Chloe as she looks to meet up with an unknown contact. Walking cautiously through the chaos, she’s repeatedly questioned by guards patrolling the area. Using her wits and skills, though, she eventually winds up at the meet-up location. After brushing off a trio of guards, we see who Chloe traveled all this way to meet: Nadine Ross.

Following the debut of the footage, Naughty Dog took to Twitter to reveal that The Lost Legacy is not just simply DLC for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Rather, like The Last Of Us: Left Behind, the content is a brand new standalone story. While playing through Nathan Drake’s last adventure would probably flesh some details out, you do not need to own that game in order to have access to The Lost Legacy.

While we still don’t know too much about what to expect here, it’ll definitely be interesting to see how two of the most calculating people in the Uncharted franchise work together. Both Chloe and Nadine are exceptional characters that can probably produce an exciting partnership, making them a great choice for Naughty Dog to expand their beloved universe with.

We expect addition information on Uncharted: The Lost Legacy to trickle out over the weekend as PlayStation Experience continues, so be sure to stay tuned for more.
