This morning, 2K Games took to the Internet to announce that, in addition to its two full games and wealth of previously-released downloadable content, Borderlands: The Handsome Collection will incorporate a couple of new add-ons when it releases on March 24th.

As a pair, The Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2 and its accompanying story DLC, Claptastic Voyage, will seemingly bring quite a bit of fun to the table. Not only will they increase The Pre-Sequel‘s level cap by ten, but they’ll also introduce a brand new campaign for Handsome Jack’s minions to plough through. One that has a hilarious premise, which is sure to appeal to the series’ robot-loving faithful.

In Claptastic Voyage, players will be shrunk to the size of a pea and sent inside of Claptrap’s digital brain. There, they will search for the “mysterious” H-Source code, which Jack would like to add to his collection for presumably devious means. In order to succeed, though, those who take on the dangerous mission will have to avoid going crazy, as all of the dubstep-loving robot’s insecurities will be in play. That includes “digital representations of his crushing loneliness,” so beware!

Those who already own Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! will be happy to hear that The Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2 and Claptastic Voyage will be available as a bundle, for $9.99 USD. Furthermore, they will also be free for those who’ve already purchased the game’s Season Pass. Of course, as previously-mentioned, folks who purchase the next-gen Borderlands: The Handsome Collection set will find this content included within the game.
