Pitched as a follow-up to 2014’s 10 Second Ninja, Curve confirmed that the all-new title will launch for Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on July 19, where it will be available for $9.99 (£7.99/€9.99).

Comprising 60 challenging levels littered across six distinct worlds, the core premise of the platformer tasks players with destroying everything in sight within the 10-second time limit. Sounds simple? Well, as the reveal trailer above proves, things begin to get hairy once the levels spike in difficulty.

In tandem with the announcement, Dan Pearce, Game Director at Four Circle Interactive, expressed his own excitement ahead of players laying siege to the title’s leaderboards come July.

“10 Second Ninja was our first game as a studio. Despite turning out officially brilliant – 90 per cent from God Is A Geek – we learnt an awful lot, making 10 Second Ninja X the game we really wanted to make. Though we’re going to be sad when we get knocked off the test leaderboards, we’re ridiculously excited to see people shaving milliseconds off the time when the game is officially released.”

Look for 10 Second Ninja X to make a beeline for Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on July 19. Below, you’ll find the first official screenshots for Four Circle’s blistering sequel.
