Good news, doods! NIS America just released two new Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance trailers showing off two of the main characters, Christo and Zeroken, who each have their own reasons for wanting to claim revenge, and special abilities to use in battle.
The core theme of Disgaea 5Â is revenge, and it bleeds over into its gameplay, as well. New to the series is a special Revenge Mode that activates once a player’s teammates have taken enough damage. This then allows characters to activate special skills and have a 100% critical attack rate. The new feature can reportedly drastically change the tide of battle in just one turn.
RPG fans should definitely be counting the days down to the game’s release, as NIS America’s Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance hits PlayStation 4 on October 6 in North America and October 9 in Europe, and it’s most definitely worth your money.
