Though it remains an Xbox exclusive in the console space —Respawn’s first-person shooter will also launch next year on PC— EA has hinted at future iterations of Titanfall appearing across a wide variety of platforms; including PlayStation 4. Speaking during an investor call at the Global Technology Conference last night, Blake Jorgensen, chief financial officer for EA, spoke about his high hopes for the eye-catching intellectual property.
Here’s what Jorgensen had to say, as transcribed by Seeking Alpha:
“It’s a very exciting product; people are really, really waiting for it. We haven’t seen anything quite this exciting in the industry in a long time. The Respawn team has done an amazing job, they really have talented group of people.
“We’ll find I’m sure that there will be future Titanfalls at some point that may be on multiple product platforms. [I] don’t know, that’s up to the teams that are going through that now, but at the end of the day, we’re excited about this Titanfall and we think it will be a big title and it will be great for Xbox One.”
We understand that the publisher has had its eye on a multi-platform future for some time; after all, Vince Zampella, co-founder of Respawn Entertainment, has expressed his desire to bring future entries in the Titanfall series to multiple platforms. As a matter of fact, Zampella openly confirmed this through Twitter late last month:

Titanfall is poised to launch for Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC on March 11, 2014 and will remain on those platforms for the rest of its lifecycle. Respawn also recently announced a collector’s edition for the game, which includes a miniature, 18” Titan figure along with a limited edition book containing concept art.
