Bethesda have offered players the most detailed look at Fallout 4's Far Harbor, ahead of the expansion's worldwide release on Thursday May 19. It becomes clear early on that Far Harbor is not a particularly welcoming place. From the increased levels of radiation you’ll be constantly exposed to, to the hulking new creatures and salty local fisherman, pretty much everything in Far Harbor wants you dead.

But, for all of the danger on the island and in the surrounding waters, there are just as many intriguing mysteries and treasures to uncover. With the help of new companion – the angry fisherman ‘Longfellow’ – you’ll take to the rugged wastes of Far Harbor immersed in the conflict that’s threatening to consume the island.

For the largest landmass that Bethesda have ever created in an expansion, the developers have also provided an extremely thorough overview of exactly when the content will be available:
