Narrated by the dulcet tones of Jonathan Banks – of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul fame – the sizzle reel is essentially a call to arms, with The Caped Crusader locking horns with a motley crew of villains that includes Harley Quinn, The Penguin, Two-Face and Poison Ivy. That cavalcade of enemies will be toplined by the return of Jonathan Crane’s Scarecrow, who will spearhead one last crusade against Bats in order to seize control of Gotham once and for all.

Set one year after the defining events of Arkham City, Rocksteady’s hotly-anticipated curtain call has already been earning favorable reviews from the four corners of the industry, and we’ll have our own thoughts on the threequel for you to enjoy later this week.

In related news, those who have pre-ordered the Batmobile Collector’s Edition will be disappointed to note that, due to a manufacturing issue, Rocksteady and publisher Warner Bros. Interactive opted to cancel the premium package altogether. Shortly after news broke, both parties also confirmed plans to delay the game’s Limited Edition, which is currently listed as ‘unavailable’ on Amazon, GameStop and other retailers. As for the former Batmobile SKU, here’s the official word from Rocksteady:

“We regret to inform you that we are not able to release the Batmobile Collector’s Edition of Batman: Arkham Knight due to unforeseen circumstances that greatly compromised the quality of this extremely limited run of product.”

Find out whether The World’s Greatest Detective dies a hero when Batman: Arkham Knight launches for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on June 23. In the meantime, let us know whether you’ll be picking up Rocksteady’s conclusive chapter using the comments section below.
