Extra Guns And Character Skins Make Up Transformers Devastation Pre-Order Incentives

If you're already a die hard Transformers fan, you're probably not going to need any more convincing that Transformers Devastation is shaping-up to be the most definitive Transformers game yet. Even so, Activision have just announced a heap of pre-order bonuses just to nudge you that little bit more into reserving your copy of the game before it releases on October 9.

If you’re already a diehard Transformers fan, you’re probably not going to need any more convincing that Transformers Devastation is shaping-up to be the most definitive Transformers game yet. Even so, Activision have just announced a heap of pre-order bonuses just to nudge you that little bit more into reserving your copy of the game before it releases on October 9.

First of all, all retail and digital pre-orders will receive exclusive character skins for Nemesis Prime, Red Alert and Goldfire – these will probably overwrite the models of the currently announced, playable Autobots and be aesthetic changes only

In addition to the above, there’s also three weapons available to those who pre-order:

  • Dark Star Sabre: A fearsome sword which radiates waves of dark energy with every swing.
  • Photon Disruptor: A Cannon causing huge damage at short range.
  • Golden Hunter: Twin blaster pistols, which causes enemies to drop credits when attacked.

Unlike the character skins, Activision have provided no details on the availability of each weapon, so whether they’re retailer exclusive or available everywhere remains to be seen.
