Charting the journey of a wanderer and his loyal canine companion, the sizzle reel opens in an idyllic 1950s suburban landscape, before fast-tracking the action past armageddon and into the post-apocalyptic setting that we know and love. Standing at the edge of Vault 111 – Fallout 4‘s chief location situated in Boston, Massachusetts – our protagonist then begins his trek across the arid, sun-scorched terrain, encountering mole rates, raiders and towering brutes.

Today’s video arrives off the back of another installment in the longrunning S.P.E.C.I.A.L. series, wherein Bethesda rolls out individual and patriotic clips detailing the core traits you’ll need to survive in the Wasteland. From endurance to agility – which toplined yesterday’s installment – the video series is primed to conclude with luck at some point prior to release.

And it’s close. Now that Fallout 4 is surely on the verge of going gold, we expect Bethesda to really have the marketing machine firing on all cylinders. Excitement for the sequel is infectious, already spreading across the Internet like a wildfire, but the publisher will be keen to attract as broad a demographic as possible – hence today’s live-action snippet.

Fallout 4 will debut across PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on November 10.
