Fenix Furia will add an additional character to the frantic action, as well as bringing a co-op mode to let players compete against each other as they race across the various platform stages. Lead developer Eduardo Ramirez sees the move to console releases as a great step for growing the game:

It’s very exciting that the journey to bring our game to consoles will be finally happening soon. While we’ve had to overcome a couple of obstacles, we want to thank all gamers for their patience.  We’ve added some great new modes and definitely incorporated player feedback on level difficulty to make Fenix Furia a fantastic platform game.

The original title was likened to a mix between Super Meat Boy and Flappy Bird, and many of its reviews at the time praised its hardcore difficulty and incessant, fast-paced action.
