First Screens And Details Released For Batman - The Telltale Series

With the highly anticipated Batman – The Telltale Series slated to launch this summer, Telltale Games has released the first screens and cast details for the project.

Boasting a similar, but improved, version of the visual style that the studio has become known for, Batman will take gamers inside both the cowl of the Bat and the suit of Bruce Wayne. In the newly released screens, we see both sides of the character in action. The Caped Crusader is pictured with enemy/lover Catwoman and the Batmobile, and Bruce is seen in the Batcave and his personal mansion.

Co-Founder and CEO of Telltale Games Kevin Bruner spoke about bringing the iconic character to life in a different medium and had the following to say:

We’ve been hard at work at Telltale creating an all-new iteration of the iconic Batman story that puts players in the suit of billionaire Bruce Wayne, just as much as it will put them behind the mask, deciding how to carefully navigate a complex drama, rich with action, crime, corruption, and villainy lurking around every corner of Gotham City. The complex life and fractured psyche of Bruce Wayne has lent itself to becoming a bold evolution of the signature ‘Telltale’ role-playing experience, and we couldn’t be more excited as we prepare to debut the series to players across the world this summer.

In addition to the new screenshots, Telltale Games also revealed some of the famous names that will be lending their pipes to the series. Full cast and character details have not been revealed yet, but here’s what we know so far:

  • Troy Baker (Batman: Arkham Knight) – Bruce Wayne
  • Travis Willingham (Lego Batman 3) – Harvey Dent
  • Erin Yvette (The Wolf Among Us) – Vicki Vale
  • Enn Reitel (The Adventures of Tintin)  – Alfred Pennyworth
  • Murphy Guyer (Mildred Pierce) – Lieutenant James Gordon
  • Richard McGonagle (Uncharted) – Carmine Falcone
  • Laura Bailey (BioShock Infinite) – Selina Kyle

Batman – The Telltale Games Series will begin later this year, and will take place over the course of five episodes.
