I don’t know about you, but I think December’s offerings are a bit of a letdown. I’m not too familiar with Shoot Many Robots, but how many people are going to download Gears of War? I mean, they could have at least offered up one its sequels. To give us the original Gears just seems a bit odd. Is there really anyone out there with an Xbox 360 that hasn’t played Gears of War yet?

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great game. In fact, I played the hell out of it back in the day. I just don’t see much point in offering it up for free at this point in time. Hopefully Microsoft can deliver something a bit more exciting when the promotion starts up on the Xbox One.

Tell us, will you be picking up Gears of War or Shoot Many Robots next month?
