Featuring some of Gotham’s greatest antagonists, the footage introduces fans of the series to the likes of  Two-Face, Penguin, Riddler, the Arkham Knight — a character said to be exclusive to Rocksteady’s in-game universe — Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy and lastly, Scarecrow, who appears to be the driving force behind the criminal surge against the city.

And that’s where you come in. For the first time in the franchise, players will be able to utilize Bruce Wayne’s trusty companion, the Batmobile, and we understand that the studio has designed Arkham Knight‘s rendition of Gotham City to facilitate the armoured beast. In addition to this, the upcoming threequel will sport a number of new features and gameplay mechanics as it tells the tale of a Batman at the height of his powers.

As the final chapter in Rocksteady’s award-winning trilogy, Batman: Arkham Knight is primed to be the most important and, crucially, darkest to date; as a matter of fact, we learned just yesterday that the studio has deemed the sequel to be rated M for Mature, making Arkham Knight the first entry in the series to receive such a mature rating.

Batman: Arkham Knight is scheduled to arrive for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on June 2. Until then, tell us, are you looking forward to Rocksteady’s conclusive title? Let us know in the comments section below.
