Game Informer’s EIC Andy McNamara has revealed that he is currently in New York City to “check out December’s cover game”, Grand Theft Auto V. The announcement was made today on McNamara’s Twitter account, which included a fancy picture of the Rockstar Games’ logo just to make sure that the scoop was properly rubbed into all of our faces.

The good news is that we will presumably be getting some actual information about GTAV in the very near future. Which is nice because we really don’t know anything about the next installment of Rockstar’s flagship IP.

Up to this point we have only seen the game’s non-informative announcement trailer last year, followed by a handful of even less informative screenshots released over the summer under the names; Business, Leisure, Transport, and two screens that the developer didn’t even bother to name.

We will keep an eye out for early details about Grand Theft Auto V, and let you know as soon as any news hits.
