Digital adventurers are dusting off their hats in preparation for another epic journey, with Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. The descended explorer’s much-anticipated third outing on Sony‘s PlayStation 3, will be releasing just around the corner, on November 1.

To make us anticipate its release even more than we already do, Sony and Naughty Dog have released not one but two commercial-style videos based on the game.

First, there’s the Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception launch trailer, which is all kinds of badass. There’s some great dialogue, an interesting premise introduction, talk about constellation guides and action-packed set pieces. Not to mention some fast-paced gun shooting and thrilling climbing gameplay.

The second video, which we also have for your perusal, is out of Japan. It seems that Harrison Ford was asked to give Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception a shot, while being filmed. Shot in commercial form, the brief clip shows Indiana Jones becoming amazed as he interacts with this generation’s favourite digital explorer.

The first of November can’t get here soon enough. I cannot wait to play through this game. Based on my hands on time with two of its demo segments, the wait will certainly be worthwhile.
