Heavy Rain: Director’s Cut Announced For November 8th Release

Heavy Rain: Director's Cut, besides including the original game, will come with a bevy of extras, including built-in compatibility with the PlayStation Move motion controller, the bonus downloadable episode, 'The Taxidermist', a 16-track soundtrack album, concept art, bonus videos and trailers, and three Dynamic Themes for the PS3 main menu

The hit PlayStation 3 “interactive drama” Heavy Rain, published by Sony & developed by Quantic Dream, is getting a special re-release shipped on November 8th.

Heavy Rain: Director’s Cut, besides including the original game, will come with a bevy of extras, including built-in compatibility with the PlayStation Move motion controller, the bonus downloadable episode, The Taxidermist, a 16-track soundtrack album, concept art, bonus videos and trailers, and three dynamic themes for the PS3 main menu.

Originally released in February 2010, the game revolves around four separate people intertwined in the mystery of tracking down the mysterious serial murderer known only as the Origami Killer. Notable features include a branching storyline influenced by the players’ actions and decisions and numerous endings.

Heavy Rain: Director’s Cut will cost $29.99 and will be available on November 8th.
