Agent 47 is paying Colorado a visit in Hitman‘s fifth episode, IO Interactive has announced. The penultimate mission of the game’s first season comes to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on September 27 and tasks everyone’s favorite bald assassin with infiltrating a Colorado farm that’s been converted into a militia training camp. Just another day at the office, then.
Officially titled Freedom Fighters, there won’t just be one or two targets for Agent 47 to content with in this episode, but four high priority marks that in a mission that IO is billing as “the toughest assignment yet for Agent 47.”
Described as extremely dangerous, each target has their own suite of specialist skills, including chemical interrogation and environmental terrorism. Well, don’t they sound like pleasant individuals?
As you’d expect, a whole host of brand new opportunities and disguises await you as you arrive Stateside, as well as 70 challenges that, when completed, will unlock new weapons, gear and items. IO Interactive studio head Hannes Seifert says that Colorado is a key turning point for Hitman‘s narrative, stating that it will “add serious momentum to the story and set up an intriguing season finale.”
Well then, color us excited. With just one more episode left to go following Colorado – which will be set in Japan – we’re certainly fast approaching the business end of Hitman‘s first season.
