New Indie Title, Allison Road, Bears More Than Just A Passing Resemblance To Silent Hills Teaser P.T.

If you're a massive fan of horror in video games, chances are high that you're already intimately familiar with P.T. If you don't know what those two letters stand for, P.T.- or Playable Teaser - was released back at last year's E3 for all PlayStation 4 owners as a free download. Only hours after its release, the game went viral as a truly terrifying experience, and turned out to be a teaser for the now-cancelled Silent Hills.

Sadly, due to the heavily-publicised issues between Konami and Hideo Kojima, P.T. has since been pulled from the PlayStation Network, but don’t despair, as it looks like Allison Road – a game that’s just been Greenlit on Steam – is aiming to tap into the same kind of horror that P.T. managed so well.

The description for the game is as follows:

Over the course of five nights it is your objective to uncover the whereabouts of your family, unravel the mysteries of the house, and face off against Lily and other dark entities that are nested deep within its walls, while the clock is relentlessly ticking towards 3:00am. What would you do if you could feel something stalking you in the dark in the safety of your own home? If you couldn’t tell what’s real and what’s not?

Check out the trailer above for a taste of what’s to come in Allison Road, and if that’s not enough to induce a panic attack, check out the game’s Steam Greenlight page here.
