Kick & Fennick tells the story of a young boy named Kick who finds himself waking up in a colourful yet surprisingly deadly world. Kick’s not facing this world unarmed, however, and he’s equipped with a gigantic gun that can both destroy his robot enemies and also allow him to propel himself to leap over huge jumps.

Kick isn’t alone, either and he’ll be accompanied by trusty companion Fennick. Together, they must explore this strange, new world, jumping and shooting their way through 45 levels of collapsed skyscrapers, treadmills, bouncypads, magnets, teleporters and a big guard robot that is never far behind!

Vincent Bonefaas of Jaywalkers Interactive explained how excited the developers are to bring Kick & Fennick to a wider console audience in a new press release:

With Kick & Fennick, we tried to create a unique platforming experience. We’ve had fantastic reactions and can’t wait for a wider audience to be able to play through it. Platforming fans looking for a breath of fresh air in the genre should definitely check it out, and we can’t wait to hear their feedback.

There’s sadly no confirmed date for when Kick & Fennick will blast their way onto consoles, but we’ll bring you updates as they come to us.
