It's hard to believe, but we're only a few days away from the much-anticipated launch of Sony's next-generation PlayStation 4 console. It's true - the wait has just about come to an end, which is something that's been made even more clear by the fact that some of the system's launch titles have already made their way onto retail store shelves in advance of Friday's festivities.

It’s hard to believe, but we’re only a few days away from the much-anticipated launch of Sony’s next-generation PlayStation 4 console. It’s true – the wait has just about come to an end, which is something that’s been made even more clear by the fact that some of the system’s launch titles have already made their way onto retail store shelves in advance of Friday’s festivities.

Today, Sony took to the Internet to unveil two brand new trailers for what is arguably the console’s most popular launch title, Killzone: Shadow Fall. First up is an eerie launch trailer that is full of doom and gloom. Then there’s its peer, which is aimed at tech fanatics who are eager to find out about all of the new effects that Guerilla Games was able to employ within its first-person shooter.

Both are available for your perusal below:

There’s no surprise that what’s showcased above is beautiful to look at, as the Killzone games have always been visual treats. Now, with the power of the PlayStation 4 at their disposal, Guerilla has delivered the series’ best-looking entry yet. Hopefully it’ll play as well as it looks, and will present a great story that will have us wanting to learn more about the world (and foes) that we’re pumping lead into.

Needless to say, I’m looking forward to getting my hands on Killzone: Shadow Fall later this week.
