Kinect Sports Rivals Has Rescheduled Its Event Dates

Although it was originally announced as an Xbox One launch title, motion-oriented Kinect Sports Rivals will, in fact, not make Microsoft's opening day roster. That means those who are looking for a sport-filled, Kinect 2.0 motion fix, will have to wait until spring 2014 before they can hit the digital field running.

Although it was originally announced as an Xbox One launch title, motion-oriented Kinect Sports Rivals will, in fact, not make Microsoft’s opening day roster. That means those who are looking for a sport-filled, Kinect 2.0 motion fix, will have to wait until spring 2014 before they can hit the digital field running.

The reasoning for said delay is simple and old hat: Rare felt that it needed more time to fine tune and polish its game before releasing it to the public, so the developer asked for a release date push. It’s surely disappointing news for those who love the series, but it’ll surely make for a better Kinect Sports Rivals experience, and that’s what matters.
