Slated to release on all platforms come Tuesday, November 22, in the snippet above we see Troy Baker’s Bruce Wayne locked up in Arkham Asylum, with only the Clown Prince of Crime and a bunch of thugs for company. Without the Caped Crusader on the streets of Gotham, tensions are beginning to escalate between Harvey Dent and the nefarious Children of Arkham, and it appears that Guardian of Gotham will present players with a crucial choice that will have a rippling effect all the way into the oncoming season finale.

There’s nothing to report on that front just yet, but Telltale has committed to launching the fifth and final episode before the year’s end, and we’ll inform you when the studio zeroes in on a specific due date. In the meantime, here’s the official overview of next week’s new installment:

In Episode 4, Penguin has taken control of Wayne Enterprises, and the Elizabeth Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane has a new guest – you – Bruce Wayne. With the Batman removed from the streets of Gotham City, Harvey Dent’s forces and the Children of Arkham are at war, with innocent citizens caught in the crossfire. To escape the ‘comforts’ of your padded cell, you must choose allies to aid in your escape, even if they aren’t the sort to put a smile on your face. How far are you willing to go for justice? For vengeance? What now, Dark Knight?

Batman: The Telltale Series episode 4: Guardian of Gotham will be available digitally worldwide starting Tuesday, November 22.
