LEGO: The Hobbit Will Venture Out In April

Bilbo and company will bring their ever-popular journey to video game devices on April 8 in North America and April 11 in Europe, Warner Bros. has revealed. That very day will mark the release of LEGO: The Hobbit, which will hit Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, Vita, Wii U, 3DS, Windows PC and Mac. It'll cover pretty much every market, leaving fans of Tolkien's timeless fantasy epic with no reason to not give it a chance.

It’ll cover pretty much every market, leaving fans of Tolkien’s timeless fantasy epic with no reason to not give it a chance.

LEGO: The Hobbit — which is based on the first two movies in Peter Jackson’s mammoth trilogy, and is therefore also linked to the written fiction that inspired them — will also be released as part of a $270 PlayStation 3 console bundle. Said package will include the game (of course), in addition to a 500 gigabyte system, which will provide plenty of space for game saves.
