Following, as it always does, in the footsteps of Microsoft and its Games With Gold program, Sony has confirmed the batch of games going free for all PlayStation Plus subscribers throughout the month of June. In case you hadn't already heard, thanks to an earlier leak, two of the titles included for the first month of summer are Dontnod's episodic title Life Is Strange and Tripwire Interactive's shmup, Killing Floor 2.

Following, as it always does, in the footsteps of Microsoft and its monthly Games With Gold announcement, Sony has confirmed the batch of games going free for all PlayStation Plus subscribers throughout the month of June. In case you hadn’t already heard, thanks to an earlier leak, two of the titles included for the first month of summer are Dontnod’s episodic title Life Is Strange and Tripwire Interactive’s Killing Floor 2.

For those that have yet to follow the tale of Max Caulfield, the photography senior’s uncanny ability to rewind time, and the repercussions of using such power, make for an excellent storytelling device in the award-winning Life Is Strange. The twists and turns of the title’s entire five-episode run are yours to experience without having to spend a dime. Offering an entirely different brand of entertainment, Killing Floor 2 is a frenetic co-op shooter that pits you against hordes of the undead in an effort to curb a zombie outbreak.

That about wraps things up as far as PS4 is concerned, but there’s plenty here for PS3 and Vita owners, too. See below for the full line-up.

  • Killing Floor 2, PS4
  • Life is Strange, PS4
  • Abyss Odyssey, PS3
  • WRC 5: World Rally Championship, PS3
  • Neon Chrome, PS Vita (crossbuy with PS4)
  • Spy Chameleon, PS Vita (crossbuy on PS4)

All of the above will be live on PlayStation Plus from June 6, replacing May’s selection, so you’ve got just one week to grab the likes of Abzu and Tales from the Borderlands before they’re gone for good! For a full rundown of this month’s free games, head through here.
