LittleBigPlanet 3 Asks Do You Want To Build A Snowman With New Frozen-Themed DLC

Few animated releases have stolen the hearts of children and adults alike in the manner of Disney's Frozen, which served up a collection of loveable characters in Elsa, Anna and Olaf to name but a few. And thanks to a recent batch of DLC, those personas are headed to Sumo Digital and Media Molecule's LittleBigPlanet 3.

Few animated releases have stolen the hearts of children and adults alike in the manner of Disney’s Frozen, which served up a collection of loveable characters in Elsa, Anna and Olaf to name but a few. And thanks to a recent batch of DLC, those personas are headed to Sumo Digital and Media Molecule’s LittleBigPlanet 3.

Announced via PlayStation Blog, the content pack will be priced at $6 and allows players to get into the festive spirit and transform Sackboy, OddSock and Toggle into those aforementioned characters. Those who don’t wish to purchase the whole pack will be pleased to note that Sony has opened up the option that allows users to buy the character skins separately for $2 — though given Frozen‘s cast of characters, picking a favorite may prove to be harder than first thought.

In tandem with the licensed add-on, the studios have included a free Winter Creator pack, which gives players the chance to adorn their Popit into something of a winter wonderland, replete with all manner of festive decorations including snowmen, robin red-breasts and much more. It’s a neat addition to the PlayStation-exclusive title, and a sure way for Sony to ring in the festive season for devotees of the world-building franchise.
