Though a concrete release date has not been given for LittleBigPlanet PS Vita yet, a launch before the end of the year is looking increasingly likely, as two pre-order bonus packs have already been announced.

The game has officially gone up for reservations, and those who jump on it early will gain access to two free costume packs at the game’s launch. One of these will be medieval-themed, with costumes resembling knights, damsels, and dragons for the player character Sackboy to wear. The other pack will be based off of the popular Bioshock series, with two costumes resembling trademark characters Big Daddy and Little Sister.

Besides being usable in the Vita game, the costumes will also be able to be transferred over to LittleBigPlanet 2 on the PS3 for use on home consoles. Another tidbit mentioned by Sony was the fact that the specific colors shown here for the medieval pack will stay exclusive to pre-order customers forever, hinting that alternate versions of these costumes will likely become available for the masses to download in the future.
