Edge of Reality’s frenetic free-to-play shooter Loadout officially launches today for Steam, and what better way to celebrate than with an uncensored launch trailer from the folks over at Rooster Teeth?

The footage we see here is filled with over-the-top comedic violence that is complemented by the game’s animated style, but what truly makes this title stand out is its unprecedented weapon-crafting system. Building a gun that is tailored for your individual play style is really only limited by your creativity. With over 44 billion combinations, it means that each gun you build and name will be a unique extension of your personal gun-toting desires. Additionally, Loadout is fused with classic platforming elements that allow players to perform maneuvers such as a ramp jumps and power rolls. These enhance the core gameplay by adding a greater sense of mobility to keep the action from feeling like a stagnant pile of shells.

I don’t know about you but I’m absolutely itching to get my hands on this one and I can’t wait to check it out later today. Hopefully I’ll see you online.

Tell us, are you gearing up to enjoy this free-to-play shooter? Be sure to leave us your thoughts on Loadout in the comments below and don’t hesitate to post your favorite weapon creations, with full part details, so others can enjoy your artistic works of destruction!
