Rockstar has announced that they will launch a port of the PC version of the original Max Payne, titled Max Payne Mobile, on iOS devices on April 12th, followed by an Android release on April 26th.

Max Payne Mobile features all the content from the original title but it has been “optimized” for iOS and Android by adding HD graphics, high-resolution textures, Social Club support, and of course really terrible touchscreen controls.

Supported iOS devices included; iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and 4S, iPod Touch 4, and all three versions of the iPad. Supported Android devices have not yet been announced, but will be made known “in the coming weeks”.
