Edmund McMillen and Tommy Refenes of Team Meat, the developers behind Super Meat Boy, have revealed that their next official game will be called Mew-Genics.

The short announcement was accompanied by a lone piece of artwork of a two-headed cat, and two small details about the upcoming game. Mew-Genics will “involve cats”, and it will have levels that are randomly generated. Outside of that, all we know is that McMillen described it as “by far the strangest project” he has ever worked on.

Development on Mew-Genics is said to be “moving quite fast” and Team Meat expects to be able to reveal more details about the game, including what platforms it will be released on and some screenshots, soon.
