Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer Leak

Heads up! Modern Warfare 3 leak, via Kotaku. It seems that the hugely anticipated follow up to Infinity Ward’s MW2 (aren’t they all hugely anticipated these days?) is officially in the works, and that Raven, Sledgehammer, and whatever is actually left of Infinity Ward are pouring their efforts into delivering this year’s fix of CoD.

Anyway, the report details some goodies on the multiplayer modes, both cooperative and competitive. Just how concrete the following information is, is uncertain but it is terribly exciting. 20 maps? (bear in mind DLC though folks), 5 survival maps of some sort? 7 special co-op missions?

Fans, critics and haters have been anticipating the official announcement for a few weeks now, many fearing the revelation of studio Beachhead’s involvement with the game will uncover a subscription layer to ice MW3. As always it is going to be a head-to-head knuckle fight with EA and Battlefield 3, only this time it might not be so easy.

Does anyone make anything interesting of the names? Implications of what to expect? You be the judges.
